Newberry College senior Jonathan Wright presents acceptance remarks and thanks to the SCICU board for the 2022 SCICU Student of the Year Scholarship.
Newberry College senior Jonathan Wright thanks SCICU board members for the 2022 SCICU Student of the Year Scholarship and explains that the scholarship helped him cover nearly all of his obligations for his senior year. Wright, a Tuition Grant recipient, is an accounting and criminal justice double major.

SCICU is grateful for the decades of independent higher education support and leadership provided by Life Trustee Minor Mickel Shaw and her extended family. Shaw was the keynote speaker at the SCICU Oct. 13 board meeting, emphasizing the importance of higher education and the Tuition Grants program to the next generation of leaders and to the state of South Carolina.
