Allen University volleyball player signs NIL deal – first for AU athletes

AU volleyball player signs the university's first-ever NIL deal.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (courtesy auyellowjackets.com) — Allen University freshman volleyball player Maliyah Spencer has signed the first-ever NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deal for Allen athletes.

Spencer, a native of Surprise, Arizona, has signed a deal with MRM Sports & Entertainment which provide opportunities for all college athletes with their slogan, “NOCAP SPORTS NIL CASH”.

“I am very excited for the possibilities and opportunity being offered to me partnering with Mr. Darren Wilson of Undefeated Sports Consulting and MRM Sports & Entertainment,” Spencer said.

Spencer, an outside hitter who leads Allen in kills with 284, has won the SIAC Newcomer of the Week award three times so far this season and reached her season-high of 21 kills (.385) in a win earlier this season. She also holds the Arizona HS record for most kills from 2020-2022 with 500. Spencer has also hit a team-best .202 on the year.
