ANDERSON, S.C. (courtesy andersonuniversity.edu) — Anderson University announced that it is adding a new Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Systems Administration: Superintendency Certification program enrolling for the Spring 2023 semester.
The EdS: Superintendency Certification program is designed for students who hold an active credential in Administration and Supervision with work experience in traditional public, private, and/or online education settings who seek to obtain Superintendent certification.
“AU’s College of Education is excited to be able to announce the addition of an Ed.S. in Educational Systems Administration to our Graduate Studies programs,” said Dr. Julie Smart, Ed.D. Program Director at Anderson University. “The addition of this Ed.S. program will round out our comprehensive certification offerings in the College of Education to include initial teacher certification, Administrative and Supervision certification, and now the Superintendent certification.”
Courses for the Ed.S. degree are offered to cohorts of students in a Hyflex format at the University Center in Greenville. Students will have the option to attend these synchronous courses either face-to-face or remotely.
“In addition, completers of the Ed.S. in Educational Systems Administration at AU will have the opportunity to access an expedited pathway to a doctoral degree in Educational Systems Leadership, also offered within our College of Education,” said Dr. Smart.
Prospective students may start applying for these certificate programs now for the Spring 2023 semester start date.
