October 22, 2020 by SC Independent Colleges & Universities

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (courtesy SMC Facebook page and commonapp.org) — Spartanburg Methodist College is now a member of The Common Application, a non-profit membership organization representing nearly 900 diverse institutions of higher education. Common Application connects applicants and those who support them to a wide array of public and private colleges and universities across all 50 U.S. states, and 20 countries.

For Fall 2021 admission, Spartanburg Methodist is SAT/ACT optional and no admission fee is required. Click here to access Spartanburg Methodist’s application link via Common App..

Common Application provides opportunities each year for more than one million students – a third of whom are first generation – to apply to college, research financial aid and scholarships, and connect to college counseling resources through Common App.

Common App’s goals include:

  • Lowering the logistical and systemic barriers to college access
  • Supporting those who support students
  • Serving a diverse group of students and institutions
  • Leveraging data and insight to inform our member institutions.
