SCICU President’s video testimony in support of striking down the Blaine Amendment

COLUMBIA, S.C. — SCICU President and CEO Jeff Perez testified Feb. 9 in the South Carolina House Judiciary Constitutional Laws Subcommittee in support of H. 3591, a bill introduced by House Speaker Murrell Smith that would call for a statewide referendum requiring voters to decide upon striking the Blaine Amendement from the South Carolina Constitution.
