COLUMBIA, S.C. — Thousands of South Carolina high school seniors converged on the S.C. State House for the third annual College and Career Decision Day. The May 7 celebration, organized by the S.C. Commission on Higher Education and modeled after National Signing Day for college-bound athletes, honors graduating high school seniors who have made commitments for attending college, entering the workforce, or enlisting in the military.
Admissions teams from SCICU member colleges and universities, along with the S.C. Tuition Grants Commission, were on hand to celebrate students who are committed to starting their higher education journey at a private college or university in South Carolina.
SCICU President and CEO Jeff Perez joined the celebrations with admissions counselors from SCICU member campuses and the S.C. Tuition Grants Commission staff.
