Morris College invited to participate in the Black College Quiz game show series

SUMTER, S.C. (courtesy morris.edu) — Morris College students were invited to participate in the Black College Quiz game show series airing in national broadcast syndication and on the Stellar Network. Black College Quiz is a weekly half hour quiz show featuring students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities answering questions on Black history and culture. The show is hosted by radio personality and co-host of the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Nephew Tommy.

Morris College SGA President and a graduating senior majoring in Cybersecurity, Rebekah Grissett, along with Ms. Quanda Sims, director of the Counseling Center and coach, participated in the competition during the television taping held at the Georgia Public Broadcasting Studios in Atlanta, Ga. Scholarships will be awarded to all participating students with a grand prize of $8,500 to the first-place winner.
