DHEC to open COVID-19 testing site on Newberry College campus

NEWBERRY, S.C. (courtesy newberry.edu) — The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is set to open a COVID-19 testing site at the Newberry College Center for Teacher Education located at 1121 Speers St. in Newberry.

Testing will be available to members of the public and the college community on Mondays from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., beginning Nov. 2 and ending Nov. 23. There will be a special session Nov. 11, also from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. There is no fee and appointments are not required.

Testing is expected to resume between Nov. 30 and Dec. 14, and again beginning Jan. 4. Specific details will be announced as the situation evolves.
