Columbia College – Thankful for resilience and support during pandemic

March 15, 2021 by SC Independent Colleges & Universities

COLUMBIA, S.C. (courtesy Columbia College Facebook page) — It’s been one year since the pandemic forced classes to move online and residence halls to close. We couldn’t have imagined what the year would hold or how different our lives would look in the coming months. One thing that remained unchanged was our commitment to keeping our community safe and strong.

One year later, we want to say thank you. Thank you to our faculty and staff for shifting to virtual learning and operations so quickly. Thank you to the facilities team for keeping our campus clean and sanitized. Thank you to our students for always being flexible and showing grace. Thank you to our donors for your continued gifts of support. Thank you to our community for doing your part in social distancing and wearing masks so that we could resume in-person classes. Thank you to the entire Columbia College community for your support. We couldn’t do it without you. Koala Safe. Koala Strong.
