COLUMBIA, S.C. (courtesy ciu.edu) — Former Vice President Mike Pence will speak at Columbia International University’s spring undergraduate commencement ceremony.

Pence served as the 48th vice president of the United States in the administration of President Donald Trump. He also served six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from Indiana and served as Indiana’s governor from 2013-2017.

Pence became a born-again Christian while in college in 1981, and is known for a strong stance on biblical and family issues.

The CIU commencement exercises are currently scheduled for April 30 in Shortess Chapel.
