GREENVILLE, S.C. (courtesy bju.edu) — BJU Seminary announced Dec. 9 that its 2022 CoRE Conference, “AWAKE! Proclaiming Truth to a Broken Culture,” will feature two of the most innovative thinkers in conservative Christianity—Christopher Cone and Dave Doran. These exceptional speakers, along with additional panel and workshop presenters from the worlds of academia and ministry, will join BJU Seminary faculty and leadership Jan. 31–Feb. 1 in-person on the Bob Jones University campus and via livestream.
The goal of the conference is to empower pastors and other leaders to deliver compassionate but uncompromised preaching and teaching in the midst of a broken culture to awaken the church to today’s unparalleled Gospel opportunity.
Alan Benson, BJU executive vice president for student development and ministry advancement who oversees BJU Seminary, stated, “Amid today’s post-Christian philosophy, social and racial division and COVID-19 challenges, arises the greatest Gospel opportunity since the Reformation.”
Continued Benson, “The 2022 CoRE Conference will examine the challenges pastors and church leaders face in educating, edifying and uniting the church and presenting Christ in a broken culture based on the unchanging and powerful truth of God’s Word.”
