Benedict welcomes back Dr. Richard Miller as Interim Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences

COLUMBIA, S.C. (courtesy benedict.edu) — Benedict College is pleased to welcome back Dr. Richard C. Miller who will serve as Interim Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Miller’s leadership began July 8.

Dr. Miller previously served as senior vice president for Academic Affairs at Benedict and recently retired from his position as vice provost at Western Kentucky University. Dr. Miller brings a wealth of experience and familiarity with the opportunities to transform the School of Arts and Sciences into the BEST in its class, having served as a faculty member and administrator for over 21 years at HBCUs and most recently, as WKU’s SACSCOC liaison for 12 years.
