SPARTANBURG, SC — Wofford College has announced the appointment of Michael Sosulski, associate provost at Kalamazoo College in Michigan, as its new Provost.
Sosulski will start the new job on July 1. He replaces Dennis Wiseman, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
“Dr. Sosulski brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Wofford College,” Wofford President Nayef Samhat said in a statement. “He has a firm grasp on Wofford’s commitment to providing transformative educational experiences for students both inside and outside the classroom.”
During his time at Kalamazoo College, Sosulski served as a director of media studies and dean of the sophomore class. He also has taught at Pacific Lutheran University in Washington and Valparaiso University in Indiana.
Sosulski holds a PhD in Germanic studies from the University of Chicago.
