COLUMBIA, SC — SCICU and its business partner ScholarBuys will host a Microsoft Azure Workshop on October 11, 2016. This exclusive workshop will be held at IT-oLogy located at 1301 Gervais Street in Columbia.
This event is designed for both campus leadership and system administrators and will include a plenary session and two separate workshops. Microsoft, ScholarBuys, Airnet Group, Veeam, and Barracuda will share how higher education institutions can reduce costs with a cloud deployment and how campuses can collaborate with partners to manage infrastructure all while having security, accessibility, and flexibility.
There also will be a discussion focusing on the benefits of knowing an institution’s true IT infrastructure cost. The Airnet Systems Assessment Tool, an easy-to-use Microsoft Certified Tool valued at $7,000, will be available to attending schools at no cost.
System administrators will have an opportunity to participate in a Microsoft Azure Lab, a 5 hour session focusing on the Microsoft Azure platform from an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) perspective.
