At the October 1 meeting, the SCICU Board of Trustees recognized 4 members whose terms of service have come to end. Each retiring member will receive an engraved desk clock to mark their service to the Board and independent colleges and universities in South Carolina.
Senior among the group are Sara Fisher, a former Board chair and member since 2004, and Randy Horn, a 6 year veteran and immediate past chair of the Development Committee.

Heather Hoopes-Matthews (2010-2013), marketing director for Nexsen Pruet (Columbia)
Randy Horn (2007-2013), president and CEO of Colonial Life (Columbia)
Nancy Spencer (2010-2013), retired insurance executive (Columbia and Greenville)
